It was worth every penny - the room was spacious and well-equipped, and the views of Exmoor were stunning. The staff treated us like family and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Breakfast delights - It would have been even better if there were more options for breakfast.

I had an amazing time at this charming cottage nestled in a peaceful location. The breathtaking views and tranquil atmosphere made for a truly relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, providing a delicious welcome basket filled with homemade goodies. The cottage itself was spacious, well-equipped, and filled with all the comforts of home. Despite a few minor inconveniences like intermittent Wi-Fi and a stuffy bedroom, it didn't dampen the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the access to the farm and the opportunity to interact with the animals. I would highly recommend East Trayne Holiday Cottages for a memorable getaway.

As a satisfied guest at East Trayne, I stayed for a relaxing weekend getaway and was delighted by the well-equipped accommodations. The welcome basket provided an amazing selection of breakfast items and a delicious homemade cake. I was impressed with the attention to detail, including a hairdryer in the bedroom drawer. The presence of a dishwasher, DVD selection, and Bluetooth speaker added to the overall comfort and enjoyment of my stay. The beautiful setting, complete with a charming farm shop and activities like giant Jenga, made rainy days just as enjoyable. I also appreciated the excellent selection of board games and leaflets for local attractions. The friendly animals, including pigs and sheep, were a delightful touch. The location was perfect for exploring North Devon and was within a half-hour's drive of Barnstaple, Exmoor, and the coast. I would highly recommend East Trayne to anyone, including those traveling with pets or teenagers. It truly is a little gem with fabulous hosts.
I do recommend this hotel.

Absolutely amazing cottage with stunning views and beautiful surroundings. The accommodation was immaculate and had everything we needed. The complimentary hamper on arrival was a lovely touch and the homemade cake was out of this world. The location was perfect for exploring North Devon, with easy access to Barnstaple and Exmoor. Having a well-equipped kitchen and a dishwasher made our stay even more convenient.
There was no shaver point to charge my toothbrush, but it wasn't a big issue as I can bring an adapter plug next time. It would be nice to have a pool table for the older kids, and maybe a path through the field to the farm shop would be helpful, especially when the grass is wet.
